Sorry
sorry, I am working on ball photos stil, sorry you all have been waint so long.
Sorry its been so long. I had a holdiday, a party and a fist week of term that was a bit like grabbing hold of a tigers tail.
The rest of th holdidays was a great time. I got a really good ride in on the last firday where I went to one of my favourite winding roads and wnet up and down it sevreal times having a blast. I got right over on the edge of the tires and discovered that when you accelerate hard from a slow rolling start thatg the front wheel comes of the ground when you get to 10,500 revs :) At whichpoint a throtteld of gently:) Its such a great bike. I got some really nice comments on it from a couple of guys who had been in the industry for a while so that was cool to.
the engagement party was Awesome!! Thanks to all of you who made it. Jeni and I had a great night and felt excited to be surrounded by so many encouraging people:) I estiamte over a hundered people came and crammed into my house. We hired a outdoor gas heater and put it on the porch so we had people there, in hte entrance way, in the lounge in the hall way in the dining area and in the upstairs lounge. It wasn't until I organised everyone to pop into the kitchen to say a few words that I realised quite the scale of it. People literally couldn't move :)
Such a great night. Unfortuneatley I have no phots having my el cheapo camera finaly break after 13 years In my last holiday and not having got to the digital camera purchase yet.
So you will just have to imagine it:) My grandma helped make a food for it and Jeni's mum and grandma sent a up a box of baking from CHCH so we ahd lots of food to share and form the feed back we have had it seemed like people that came had a good time which is exactly what i wanted.
School has been a hit the ground runnig situation again with junior reports in full swing. I have tryed to Jump into the role of hillary house leader and have been chasing kids to find out why they have a funny absence in the middle of the day, or, they just happen to have last period absent. Also working with house commitee to try and fund raise for IHC (the charity My house supports). Rochelle who is my co-leader is great and she has it all under control and I am just trying ot find my feet at the moment.
Next week I will have the joy of proof reading 5 form classes worth of juinor reports and writing house leader comments on all of them. Its going to be a loonnnng week:(
