Sorry about he lack of updates. Life has been very full.

a week has passed and I cant remember anything but the highlights:)

Last week was spent finishing writing exams and then writing mark schedules for work. I also had a couple of days off with some random head ache thing. Mum and dad came up on Thursday so over the last weekend have done a lot of family gathering.

We had a great time having dinner with my Aunty Coll and Uncle bill on Friday night as they had organised family dinner on the excuse of Jeni and I being engaged. Grandma and Grandad, my two cousins, Andy and Beks and my parents all made for a great night. The funny thing was that they had bought a cake which when no one was looking their dog Chevy had snaffled off the bench!!! He proceeded to look sheepish all night as well as looking for other cake to snaffle:)

Hung out with the folks on Saturday with Jeni and Andy and we all watched/peered at the screen trying to figure out what was happening in the rugby. We had dinner at the thirsty whale as we watched it. Food is good but the service was appalling.

My Hurricanes lost to the scummy crusaders which my father and brother support which is always annoying ( why cant they just lose !!!!).

We caught up with matt and Chris and saw all the wedding photos which was cool too.

Wedding stuff marches on in the background but no major announcements to tell you.

Well I am going back to marking my y13 Alexander the great essays. "no you don't know what you are talking about" " no he didn't ever say that" " actually you just made that up"

there have been some very strong glimmers of hope that make me feel like I haven't completely wasted 5 hours a week teaching them.

GO THE ONES THAT ACTUALLY READ THE TEXT BOOK AND LISTEN TO TEACHER!!!!!
